Headstay length
From the top of the BAS band go down 1.000 mm and with the jib halyard on that mark swing to the forestay and mark it. From this mark to the forward face of the deck-forestay intersection (see figure) measure X=1.270 mm.

Mast butt
FFrom the aft face of the mast to the main bulkhead measure Y=182 mm. J will be 4.190 mm (see figure).

Base rig setu
V1 1.450 Kg (taken with Loos Pro Model RT-10M tension gauge; don't buy it, lend it once!)
D1 43.5 (taken with Loos Pro Model PT-2M tension gauge)
D2 35 (taken with Loos Pro Model PT-2M tension gauge) Keep your reference with the turnbuckles measures as well (see image).

Mainsail trimming
From 0 to 12 kts use the soft top batten. With more wind use the standard.

Headsail trimming
Sign on the lower spreader 5 marks at 40 (#1) to 80 (#5) cm from the center of the shroud.
Sign on the upper spreader 4 marks at 20 (#1) to 50 (#4) cm from the center of the shroud.
